Mental Health Care Gaps in Israel

Professor Huppert is the Sam and Helen Beber Chair of Clinical Psychology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he directs the Laboratory for the Treatment and Study of Mental Health and Wellbeing. An expert in anxiety and related disorders—including obsessive-compulsive disorder, social anxiety, and depression—he has published over 100 articles and chapters in these areas. His research focuses on optimizing psychological interventions and understanding the mechanisms that maintain and treat these disorders. Professor Huppert is also dedicated to advancing and disseminating CBT throughout Israel and beyond. ​
