Dr. Kaysen is a past president of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies and has conducted groundbreaking research on PTSD, substance use, and health disparities. Her work focuses not only on understanding trauma but on expanding access to high-quality, effective care—especially for underserved and marginalized communities.
